How to enter RFR

The network operates in the following way:

• Members – organizations, professionally engaged in technology transfer: consultancies and innovation centers that have technology-oriented customers, universities and R&D institutes, high-tech companies of both countries. The members act as technology brokers, validated by the network; they present technology offers and requests from their clients and from other RFR participants
• Participants – any research and/or technology-oriented organizations, with an appropriate profile and interested in co-operation with French partners.

If you believe that your profile corresponds to the description above, and you wish to join the RFR, you should complete the Questionnaire of an RFR participant in Russian or in English and forward it to the Russian and French RFR Administrators.

Representatives of National Co-ordinators will evaluate your Questionnaire and contact you, if necessary, for further details, and then inform you about the decision.

Status of an RFR member is stipulated by validation of you organization at the Russian Technology Transfer Network (www.rttn.ru). The RFR has adopted EU IRC standards, and the information on technology profiles (offers and requests) can be entered to the network database only after an examination (technology audit) by a technology broker. This improves the quality of technology profiles and provides a first step “quality assurance” for potential partners (the technology profiles from the French and Russian side are subjected to the same procedure).

France: You may submit your technology profile to one of the French Innovation Relay Centres, or to OSEO anvar – former French National Innovation Agency.

Russia: You may submit you technology offers and requests to have them placed at the RFR web-site database, via one of validated RFR members (see their contact details at Network members).

All the necessary information about the format of TO/TR presentation and the contact details of both ICs are given at the Russian Technology Transfer Network web-site www.rttn.ru . There you will also find recommendations on writing good TO/TR, that could be of use to you.

If your organization professionally engaged in technology transfer and wishes to become a validated RFR member, you will have to go through the validation procedure. The information about this procedure will be sent to you on request, which you should forward to RFR Administrators.
